One of the main indicators of the effectiveness of rescue services is the speed of response to an emergency. For this, Sonin Hybrid (Atlanta, USA) has developed the Recruit quadrocopter, capable of speeds up to 225 km / h and staying in the air for up to three hours.
This long run time is made possible by a hybrid power system with a petrol engine connected to a generator that continually recharges the batteries of four electric motors. For comparison, the energy resource of purely electric UAVs does not exceed 30 minutes at a maximum speed of 72 km / h.
In addition to hybrid technology, Recruit is equipped with stabilization system, 4K / 30fps camera with 30x optical zoom, static and mobile target tracking, night vision camera, 6000 lumen floodlight, loudspeaker with a range of up to 5 km, retractable landing gear and a set of multicolored blinking LED lights.
Remote control of Recruit in real time is provided, as well as the ability to fly in autonomous mode along a programmed route. The first deliveries of the drone are scheduled for the end of this year.
