Arcimoto is preparing to launch a nimble city electric ride Roadster

Until now, various versions of the Fun Utility Vehicle motorcycles of the American company Arcimoto have been fully electric and closed. The new version, the Roadster, has dropped the roof and is now under active development. It is based on the same platform, with electric motors on each of the two front wheels, providing a top speed of up to 120 km / h and a range of up to 165 km in urban conditions on a single charge.

Whereas previous buggy-like models had heated seats, the Ultimate Fun Machine has tandem-style seats like motorcycles and an increased (especially for carrying cargo) area above the rear wheel. The front of the Roadster is very similar to the front of the Fun Utility Vehicles, with the only significant difference being a squat windshield.

While nothing is known about plans for serial production of the new model, it is possible that Arcimoto will consider adding this model to its product line later this year.
