Segway prepares a powerful electric Gokart PRO for drift fans

American company Segway Ninebot Inc. is known for its electric scooters, segways and other individual electric vehicles. recently delighted fans to drive with a breeze on karting, with the ability to drift to their best. We are talking about Gokart PRO electric cards.

The first version of Gokart based on a two-wheeled segway was created in 2018. It accelerated to 27 km / h and could travel 17 km on a single charge. Gokart PRO became its continuation, improving the performance of the progenitor - 37 km / h and 25 km.

The steering of the new model has become more responsive and durable, acceleration has increased 1.5 times, thanks to a pair of hub motors with a power of 4800 W and 96 Nm of torque - the Gokart PRO reaches a maximum 37 km / h in a matter of seconds.

Since the engine hubs operate independently, the user can set the horsepower for each rear tire to be used while drifting using the Drifting Assistant in the smartphone app. In it, drivers not only adjust the drift parameters, but also choose one of four optimized modes with different maximum speeds.

Gokart PRO can climb hills with a 15-degree incline, is equipped with a set of speakers that simulate the sounds of an internal combustion engine mounted on conventional karts, and is equipped with a reverse gear for getting out of difficult situations.

Segway Ninebot is currently raising funds on Indiegogo to begin mass production of the Gokart PRO, which can be purchased with a $ 1,600 deposit. The start of deliveries is scheduled for next month.
