The new Hummer electric pickup from GMC was initially positioned as the successor to the glorious series of huge and passable SUVs. According to the first impressions of the audience and specialists, this is exactly how it turned out. To emphasize the merits of the new product, the manufacturer recorded eight videos demonstrating the main features of the Hummer.
Movement like a crab
Not exactly what many motorists expected, Hummer still does not have a full-fledged sideways movement system. Instead, the electric car received an auxiliary mechanism to overcome difficult sections. All wheels rotate 10 degrees and the car moves diagonally, avoiding the obstacle along the shortest path.

Users wondered for a while what was behind the intriguing title "Extraction Mode". It turned out that this is a simple lifting of the rear axle to a height of up to 40 cm, so that when driving over stones there is no risk of catching them and getting stuck. Hummer “extracts” itself in advance from a similar situation.
